Bluebonnets Time of Year

In case you didn't know (or you're not from around here), the Bluebonnet is the state flower of Texas. Each Spring they burst onto scene scattered along the hills and roadsides of Texas.

The beauty of these brightly colored wildflowers are worth your time on a leisurely drive. You owe it to yourself to take in their beauty at least once. Unless you're already doing it every year (like me).

Come on by the website to find some of the best bluebonnet viewing routes. You will even discover The Bluebonnet Capitol of Texas.

Fredericksburg is Number 1

Booking.com recently named the most welcoming destinations in the World. Their Traveler Review Awards for 2026 included 32 different world-wide travel markets, including the United States.

Fredericksburg, Texas was Number 1 as the most welcoming destination in the United States.

An Olive Company?

This is a little unexpected (I know). An olive company in the middle of wine country.

But don't discount this little slice of Tuscany in Texas too quickly. Besides world-class olive oils, they also have a wide selection of balsamic vinegars too.

And if you're concerned about quality, don't be. They are the only certified olive orchard in the state of Texas.
